A good distance target depends on your personal fitness level and availability.

As a general guide, an average of 5,000–10,000 steps per day translates to approximately 3–7 km daily. Over the campaign period, this can help you set a target that is realistic, meaningful, and still personally challenging.

Setting a higher distance goal can also help with fundraising — supporters are often encouraged by an ambitious goal and may be more inclined to support your walk.

Choose a target that suits your pace, and remember: you’re always welcome to walk beyond your initial goal to grow your impact even further.
